About
Being a chef is both a childhood dream and a lifelong pursuit for Alexey Fokin, who, over the years of working in the restaurant industry, has become a multiple award winner in Russian culinary and service competitions, completed internships in the best restaurants in the capital, and worked on a variety of projects in Siberia.
Alexey Fokin has a distinctive culinary style, and French cuisine has become a defining and deeply personal passion for him. His internships at White Rabbit and Cococo Bistro, and his work at the prestigious La Premiere cafe in Irkutsk, helped the chef develop an impeccable classic style and his own vision of tradition. At the Jil gastro-bistro, French cuisine takes center stage, reflecting the atmosphere of a Parisian bohemian brasserie, but there are also Mediterranean influences, which Alexey explored while working at the 33 Wine & Tapas gastro-wine bar in Irkutsk.
Residents of Krasnoyarsk are also familiar with Alexey Fokin through his work at Welcome bar and "Zaleчь na dno v Brügge." Today, the chef has returned to his hometown and is leading the kitchen at the Jil gastro-bistro.
