Jil

A gastro-bistro in the historical and cultural center of Krasnoyarsk, with a French flair reflected in its name, menu, and interior.

This gastro-bistro, a project by restaurateur Alexander Mitrakov and the 075 COMMUNITY team, is located in the heart of Krasnoyarsk's cultural and historical center, between three theaters, in the middle of the main city street. It's a place for everyday visits, with a large and easy-to-understand menu and early breakfasts, offering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for both daily routines and special occasions.

The gastro-bistro's chef is Alexei Fokin, a Siberian with a distinctive culinary style and experience working in some of the best restaurants in the country. The Jil menu features original dishes, as well as classic French and Russian cuisine that needs no introduction: Niçoise salad, hearty and flavorful pies and soups (with a total of six options, a unique selection for Krasnoyarsk), a wide variety of fish and meat dishes, unconventional side dishes, potato and onion bread with whipped butter, French crepes, brioche, and frangipane, seasonal and local specials, and a well-curated wine and cocktail list that complements the main menu.

The visual imagery, cocktail names, and location of the restaurant allude to art, a universal language that transcends translation and connects our city and country with French culture. This includes ballet, particularly the French classic "Giselle." The bistro's name also echoes this, as do the suspended chandeliers, mirrors, and murals. The interior of Jil, with its white tablecloths, wicker furniture, and beautiful light from the large windows, harmonizes with the facade and the history of the Semenov-Romanov building, where the bistro is located. The original column with its classical design, arches, and even the bohemian atmosphere of the early 20th century, when the building housed the first cinema, a porcelain shop, wine and tea shops, and an international bank, have been preserved.

Jil is open and welcoming to everyone. Everything feels familiar, as if this gastro-bistro has always been here: it's easygoing, bright, delicious, and from the early morning, it smells of freshly baked brioche.
