About
Mikhail Kuchma received his professional education at the Minsk State Trade College. His journey from cook to chef began with years of experience working with numerous chefs in various restaurants. His first job was at the Jack Club in Minsk, where he worked as a cook in the hot kitchen in 2007.
He moved to St. Petersburg in 2012 and worked at the wine bars Prowines and La Marseille. For several years, Mikhail honed his skills in the kitchens of leading St. Petersburg restaurants, including Tse Fung, "The Wine Cellar," Jerome, Tartarbar, "The Banya," and Ezo Izakaya. In 2020, he became the head chef at the "Sыrovarnya" restaurant in St. Petersburg and also led the kitchen at the Simach restaurant in Sochi. Since 2021, Mikhail Kuchma has been the head chef at the French restaurant Lou Lou in St. Petersburg. From a young age, he realized his passion for cooking. His mother and father were excellent cooks, and the aroma of his grandmother's baked goods filled him with delight. Mikhail is constantly learning new things and developing his skills in various cuisines around the world. He particularly enjoys truffle cheese with honey and recommends pairing it with a glass of white wine. What he enjoys most is seeing the positive reactions of satisfied guests. His core principles in his work are honesty and complete dedication.
