About
His first job was at the "Inturist" restaurant, located in the "Druzhba" hotel in Tiraspol. He moved to St. Petersburg in 2005 and graduated from the St. Petersburg Institute of Culture. His first job there was at the British pub "Red Lion." He also worked at the restaurants "Ryba" and "Mozzarella." His first head chef position was at the restaurant "Antrecot" (now known as Jerome).
Previously, he worked at restaurants such as Lou Lou (Moscow and St. Petersburg), Yug 22, Pafos, Uni, and "Good Girl," which is part of the Alba Group restaurant chain. He gained experience working with seafood through numerous internships, including stints in Spain at the restaurants Estimar and Rural. His career includes not only Russian projects but also international ones. Over several years, Leonid Volkov developed menus and organized processes for 15 restaurants in Russia and abroad, including Suelo in Paris and Alba in London.
Currently, he heads the kitchen at the Peshi restaurant.
He was born in Moldova, in Tiraspol. After school, he completed a one-year culinary course there.
