Svetlana loved to cook from a young age, but her parents were against her pursuing a career as a chef. Instead, she studied tourism management. However, fate eventually led her down the culinary path. She started her career at a cafe in St. Petersburg. She also worked at Sergey Shnurov's bar "Sinny Pushkin," at the restaurant "Vmeste," and then at Arkady Novikov's restaurant "Sыrovarnya." She was the only female head chef in his chain of restaurants. Some journalists even called Svetlana a "guru" of cheesemaking. The "Sыrovarnya" restaurant was an official partner of the economic forum in St. Petersburg in 2018, and Svetlana organized the event, overseeing the catering for the guests.

She participated in a series of "ginza to eat" friendly dinners, serving as a guest chef at restaurants such as "Kapuleti," "Koryushka," and "Sunday Ginza," among others. She also conducted a masterclass at the Craft Weekend craft beer festival. Last year, Svetlana was invited to Moscow to launch the "Good Girl" project on Patriarch's Ponds, so she left "Sыrovarnya" and moved to Moscow.

Now, she is the head chef at the restaurant "Bibirevo. Beer, Food, Ice Cream."
