About

Andrey began his professional journey by enrolling in the Nizhny Novgorod Commercial Institute, majoring in "Food Production Technology." In his second year, he attended his first masterclass led by a graduate of the institute, who was then one of the city's top chefs. There, he requested an internship, working for free for the first three months. Shortly after, and having proven himself, Andrey became a full member of the "Caramel" restaurant team. He then worked under the guidance of Chef Andrey Sulima, who was managing a rapidly growing chain of restaurants. This provided the young chef with the opportunity to move between restaurants in the chain, gaining new skills and continuously improving his professional level. His desire for constant growth eventually led Andrey to seek larger projects and more ambitious goals, so he moved to Moscow. In the capital, he immediately secured a position at the renowned "Varvary" restaurant, working under the iconic chef Anatoly Komm. This was a transformative experience for Andrey, as each day brought unique discoveries to his culinary and professional life. After a year of intense work at "Varvary," he continued his journey with another of Moscow's top chefs, Anton Kovalenko, at the "Fahrenheit" restaurant. For the next four years, Anton served as Andrey's mentor, constantly introducing him to new things: recipes, techniques, and interesting people. They worked side-by-side at "Fahrenheit," "Steak it easy," and the "Beluga" restaurant. This invaluable experience significantly enriched Andrey's professionalism and his creative approach to gastronomy. During this time, he also had the opportunity to work with Anatoly Kazakov at the "Selfie" restaurant, further expanding his range of skills. At the "Beluga" restaurant, Andrey Zelinkov held the position of sous chef and actively gained management experience, which gave him the skills and confidence to consider becoming a head chef himself. His mentor supported this decision, as working with an experienced professional had trained Andrey in all aspects of culinary arts at the highest level. The owner of the "Vkusno Pit" restaurant holding, Evgeny Nichiporuk, recognized Andrey's talent and invited him to lead the kitchen of a new project – the gastronomic bistro GASHEK, where the young chef showcases a modern approach to European cuisine with a focus on local, rural, and seasonal products. Andrey creates a very friendly atmosphere in the restaurant, often personally serving dishes to tables and interacting with customers. Andrey Zelinkov is currently actively growing and developing his career, and he already has clear ideas for the future, while remaining open to new ideas, experiments, and interesting collaborations. Andrey Zelinkov, brand chef of the Mandy's Group restaurant group, has already gained widespread recognition in the restaurant industry, despite his young age. Andrey is known for his ability to combine simplicity and boldness in his cooking. He has created gastronomic projects both in Moscow and in Kazakhstan, following the principle of using local and seasonal products, and always strives to bring innovation to classic dishes. Andrey was born in Vladimir and moved to Nizhny Novgorod at the age of three. His childhood dreams of a future profession ranged from astronaut to lawyer, but from a young age, his main goal was to bring joy to people. This is what Andrey successfully realized when it came time to choose a profession. Now, the chef is increasingly convinced that seeing the happy and satisfied faces of guests, inventing new flavors, working with emotions and sensations, and gaining new experiences is his personal form of magic.
