About
Alexander spent his childhood in the village of Bolsheokinskoye, in the Bratsk district of the Irkutsk region, where his grandfather worked as a forester. He learned the names of wild plants, berries, and mushrooms alongside learning to speak, also discovering how to prepare them and why they were eaten. He still draws inspiration for his menus from childhood memories – what can be made from the common weed purslane, which flowers are edible. Later, he studied at an art school in Bratsk. His knowledge of composition, style, and color combinations, combined with the rich palette of ingredients he uses, now helps him make each dish unique.
Having first entered a kitchen in 2016, he went through the entire process, from cook to chef. Alexander's creative mind constantly seeks new perspectives and variations. In 2020, as the RnD Chef at 0.75 please, he developed recipes and expanded the restaurant's product range, and also, together with the team, prepared chef's table dinners with chefs from leading restaurants around the world and Michelin-starred projects, including the Dane Ivo Løv Dahl, the Australian Tom Hallpine, the Norwegian Jordan Bailey, and others.
In 2022, Alexander Kucherov became the head chef, and then the brand chef at 0.75 please. Here, he creates his own cuisine, filled with traditional flavors and new combinations. In his free time, he also makes ceramics for the restaurants, takes his team into the forest to gather wild plants, and grows vegetables on the 0.75 group farm.
In early 2024, Alexander, together with the 0.75 group team, opened the company's first project in the capital – 0.75 please Moscow.
