About
Vladimir Skomorokhov was born in Lytkarino, a town in the Moscow region. He graduated from a vocational college there, earning a degree in food technology. He then went on to study at the Moscow State University of Technology and Management named after K.G. Razumovsky, where he obtained a higher education degree in "Technology of Food Production."
Vladimir began working in a cafeteria in 2003, starting as a kitchen assistant and food preparer, and quickly became a cook. He continued to gain experience and learn the secrets of the kitchen in various projects, eventually rising to the position of sous chef. He also underwent training and internships in London.
Vladimir's first prestigious job was at the "Nedalniy Vostok" restaurant, owned by Arkady Novikov. For about eight years, he studied the intricacies and nuances of Asian cuisine under the guidance of Glen Ballis, starting as one of the cooks in a large team, then becoming a sous chef, and for a year and a half, the head chef.
Thanks to his experience, he began working on private events and as a personal chef in London, Israel, Corsica, and Monaco. He also launched several projects in St. Petersburg, where he served as the brand chef.
Currently, Vladimir Skomorokhov is at the forefront of the rapidly developing restaurant scene of the new Crimean wave, and he leads the kitchen of Pioner Cafe, the flagship restaurant of the First Restaurant Group, located on the southern coast of Crimea in Yalta.
