Pioner Cafe offers comfort food and the atmosphere of the Patriarch's Ponds gastronomic cluster in Yalta. This flagship project of the First Restaurant Group aims to create restaurants in the regions that offer service and cuisine at the level of a capital city establishment. By assembling a young and talented team from the best projects in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the company is embarking on a new stage in the development of the restaurant industry on the southern coast of Crimea. Chef Vladimir Skomorokhov has worked in London, Israel, Corsica, and Monaco. Under the guidance of Glen Ballis, he spent eight years studying the nuances of Asian cuisine at Arkady Novikov's "Far East" restaurant, where he served as sous chef and chef. At Pioner Cafe, he continues to develop a culinary concept that balances global gastronomic traditions with the popular comfort food style, using local Crimean products such as vegetables, fruits, herbs, fish, farm cheeses, and local wine. It's the perfect place for a relaxed vacation in Yalta. The menu offers something for everyone. Those seeking a taste of the south often choose rapans, hake, and mussels. Locals enjoy the signature focaccia, Ramiro pepper with basil and feta, tom yum soup, and the "Niçoise" salad. Those craving Asian flavors can indulge in hand rolls and signature rolls. Vegetarian guests can choose from hummus, a green bowl, and broccoli with guacamole. And children will love the "Margherita" and "Four Cheese" pizzas. Pioner Cafe offers the earliest and most extensive breakfast options in the city. From 8 am to 4 pm, guests can enjoy shakshuka with spinach, a stylish brioche with salmon, poached egg, and guacamole, French toast with baked pear and vanilla cream, syrniki (cheese pancakes), Greek yogurt with granola, and various porridges, including buckwheat with pumpkin and dried fruits, and green buckwheat with coconut and mango. Desserts are given special attention. The menu features classic desserts like Napoleon, Honey Cake, cheesecake, and tiramisu, as well as trendy shortbread tarts and social media favorites that are guaranteed to lift your spirits: "Pill" or "Capsule of Joy," as guests have affectionately named it, "Golden Dome," and "Apple." The restaurant group's signature handmade candies, made by the company's pastry chefs, are also a highlight, particularly those with matcha and Gorgonzola flavors. The interior of Pioner Cafe harmoniously combines warm colors, wood, comfortable furniture, and perfect lighting – all the hallmarks of the most cozy and popular restaurants in the Patriarch's Ponds district. The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows create a light and airy space, allowing natural light to flood the cafe during the day and offering stunning views of the park illuminated at night. The illuminated thick reeds along the walls of the cafe are particularly striking, and the large painting of a mysterious young woman becomes almost magical at this time. A private garden will be created around the cozy veranda of Pioner Cafe, overlooking the park, in the summer of 2022. The large terrace facing the sea is beautifully decorated for holidays – in October, it was adorned with pumpkins, symbols of Halloween, and for the New Year, a real Christmas market with a bonfire, lights, cocoa, spiced mulled wine, and gingerbread houses. At Pioner Cafe, everything comes together perfectly: an energetic team, a chef inspired by the south and the Black Sea, delicious and accessible food, a central location in Yalta, a stylish design, and perfect warm lighting.
