About
In 2006, Ekaterina's encounter with wine was accidental, but it proved to be a defining moment. It all began in a wine shop, where she worked in retail sales for about ten years, until she decided to explore the world of wine from a different perspective and completed a sommelier course at the "Millésime" school in St. Petersburg.
Her first project in the restaurant industry was with Goose Goose (part of the Italy&co group). Subsequently, she worked as a brand ambassador for the Geografico winery at the "Ladoga" company and as a sommelier at the "Lastochki" bar, where she discovered the world of natural winemaking, a field she continues to work in today. In 2022, she created the wine list for Ante seafood&bar, combining classic wines with biodynamic options and selections from local European wineries. She was a laureate of the "Baltic Cup" competition. Since 2023, she has been the head sommelier at "SCHASTYE," and from 2025, she will be at Michèle.
