About

Working at the intersection of Asian, European, and Russian traditions, Yegor Anisimov creates his own unique cuisine, for which guests are willing to travel from one end of the country to the other. He has completed internships in restaurants in Vietnam, China, and Thailand, and has toured with performances in some of the best restaurants in Russia. Yegor has become a brand ambassador for the "Pacific Russia Food" project, which aims to develop the local cuisine of the Pacific regions of the Russian Far East. Zuma is one of the most highly acclaimed restaurants outside of the two major cities, and a true symbol of the Far East. In 2017, it was recognized as the best regional restaurant by the GQ restaurant awards, and it was included in the SPOON guide's list of the 100 best restaurants in Russia. The restaurant's menu features local seafood from the Far East, including dishes such as crab and halibut with pear in truffle sauce, which have become iconic dishes at Zuma.
