MODUS Restaurant: A Three-Story Home for Friends Modus represents qualitative changes influenced by the surrounding environment. In this context, the guests, or friends of the restaurant, are the driving force behind any changes. For them, trends, menus, and events are constantly evolving, but the one constant is the impeccable quality of execution and the broad scope of the project, which extends beyond just gastronomy. MODUS Restaurant is a three-story mansion of our time, built to bring together all aspects of social life. It's a large and cozy space where life thrives, and where people enjoy discussing everything from the pleasures of food, as a way to discover new things or to deepen their appreciation of what they already know, to art and culture. They can enjoy breakfast, welcoming the new day, and savoring panoramic views through large stained-glass windows, or relax on the rooftop terrace in good weather. The three-story life of Modus is full of events: concerts featuring famous stars, charity events, and visits from foreign chefs. And during the warmer months, one of the largest terraces in the city, built in a chalet style, opens its doors, offering a perfect place to spend time surrounded by flowers and greenery, enjoying the cool breeze. At the heart of MODUS's culinary story is Andrei Zhdanov, one of the top five chefs in Russia. This chef of the new generation of Russian cooks has been developing a unique vision for his dishes for many years, accumulating experience and knowledge. The executive chef has distributed new creations across all sections of the menu, which includes over a dozen categories, from Pan-Asian and European classics to their modern fusion, RAW dishes, and a grill bar. The concept is based on "zero-kilometer" products (i.e., extremely fresh and relevant), grown on partner farms, of premium quality, and featuring unusual combinations of familiar ingredients. The theme of Russian specialties and seasonal ingredients, but now in the form of beverages, is continued by bar manager Denis Millionov. Denis is known for his almost alchemical experiments with five flavors and his skillful use of distinctive products from each region. The result is a unique mixology with an ethnic flair. You might find rum infused with lemongrass, strawberry syrup, juice from the Hawaiian tree kilaya, vermouth flavored with Borodinsky bread, or bitters made with bloodroot. The wine list is inspired by neo-classicism and postmodernism. The selection of wines will appeal to both those who judge wine quality by its label and to seasoned connoisseurs. Great attention is paid to rare grape varieties, such as "Mondes" from Savoy or "Uva Rara" from Lombardy. For those who enjoy discussing art, there are art workshops. Popular artists and cover bands perform from Thursday to Saturday. Modus brings together everything you could possibly dream of: a location in a historic district, events you want to attend, breakfasts you want to linger over, a gastronomic menu that can surprise everyone, and, of course, the opportunity to meet with friends and simply enjoy life.
