Chef Artem Martirosyan grew up in Grozny, but at the age of 14, he moved to Brazil, where he lived for 7 years. For 5 of those years, he lived in a monastery of the Order of Saint Francis, working as a volunteer. During his time as a volunteer, Artem often worked as a cook in the communal kitchen. Brazilian cuisine was completely different: exotic fruits, the best meat, seafood that the future chef had never encountered before – all of this became Artem's first culinary experience.
Upon returning to Moscow, he enrolled in culinary school. He started his career as a kitchen assistant at "Grine," working under Anatoly Koma. From 2006 to 2010, Artem carefully studied the workings of kitchens in various restaurants and hotels. He began his career as a head chef at the bar "Belka" in 2010. Afterwards, he worked as a sous chef at Luciano under Konstantin Ivlev. He then became the head chef at "Deti Raika" and the restaurant "Reka." In 2015, he helped set up the kitchen at the cafe Blume, and then started working as a head chef at the bar "Kianu." Currently, at "Krabakutaby," which opened in 2019, he prepares Pan-Asian cuisine with unexpected twists.
