In December 2023, Artem Ivanov became the head chef at Andrey Shmakov's "Shmak" bistro. Prior to this, he had worked as a sous chef at the legendary SAVVA – a Michelin-starred restaurant owned by Arkady Novikov, located in the "Metropol" hotel – as well as a sous chef at the popular AQ Kitchen, a senior chef at the "Balchug Kempinski" hotel, and a chef at the Four Seasons Hotel Moscow.

Artem consciously chose to dedicate his life to the restaurant industry. In 2012, he enrolled in the Moscow Culinary College and later graduated with honors. During his time at the college, he acquired skills in cooking and pastry, mastered culinary carving techniques, and subsequently worked at a cafe-bar within the renowned Hard Rock Cafe chain.
