New Orleans is rightfully considered the birthplace of cocktails and jazz. This city gave the world such iconic drinks as the Sazerac, Ramos Fizz, and Vieux Carre. It was also where Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, and many other stars of the world jazz scene began their careers. Furthermore, this city has developed unique culinary traditions with a deep historical background, blending the legacies of French and Spanish colonies. The Follow The Rabbits team continues to explore the culinary aspect, so at Nola, you can not only enjoy cocktails from one of the best bars in the world, but also sample Louisiana cuisine prepared by chef Alexei Ermakov, starting at 12:00. Enjoy Muffuletta and Po' Boy sandwiches, Cajun shrimp Jambalaya, and Etouffee crawfish, all paired with legendary cocktails and modern, original variations. The bar features a rotating carousel in the center of the room and regular musical evenings – all of this awaits the most discerning guests at Nola. Why Nola? Nikolai Kiselev, Igor Zernov, and Artem Peruk, the co-founders of the project, admit that the idea, format, and name of the bar came to them during their trip to New Orleans. It was there that they first heard the composition "Nola" and learned about its fascinating history. In America, at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, there lived a composer and pianist named Felix Arndt, a prominent figure of his time. And his lineage, including Napoleon III as a relative, certainly kept him on his toes. He had a wonderful wife named Nola, and he named his most important musical creation after her. There are other interpretations of the name "Nola"... But the team promises to share those stories in person.
