Von Witte is a bar designed in the style of an English club, situated on the first floor of the "Grand Hotel Moika 22." The famous mansion on the Moika embankment, facing the Palace Square, was built in 1853 by the architect Vasily von Witte, and the bar is named in his honor. It is decorated to resemble a study in an English club, featuring leather armchairs, a fireplace, authentic knight's armor at the entrance, a model sailing ship on the bar counter, a library of rare antique books, paintings, and engravings. There's even a quirky artifact: a counterfeit bill dated to the mid-19th century. The bar boasts an exceptional collection of fine spirits, and you can order any wine from the "Grand Hotel" wine cellar. The cocktail menu focuses on perfectly executed classics, but the team led by head bartender Ivan Kuritsyn is always ready to create a unique composition or an unusual twist. In addition to bar snacks, there is a full menu created by the "Grand Hotel Moika 22" executive chef, Nikolai Khvalynsky. Von Witte is the perfect place for a leisurely lunch, a business meeting, an aperitif, and especially for a late dinner after a concert or performance. The bar in the "Grand Hotel Moika 22" is open from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Live music is featured from Thursday to Sunday.
