About

A sailor named Uncle Kolya traveled the vast shores of the world in search of a soul. Throughout his journeys, he was followed by a solitary seagull, which stood out from all other birds with its cheerful personality and melodious cry. All along the way, the seagull would exclaim to the sailor, "Sail! Sail!" encouraging Uncle Kolya in his ultimate goal of finding a soul.

Soon, the seagull became the sailor's companion, and he affectionately called her Lora. Together, they continued their search. From Cape of Good Hope to Cape Prince of Wales, they collected recipes for drinks that, they believed, would unlock the human soul.

Upon reaching Chukotka, with its harsh subarctic climate, the seagull Lora learned the phrase "Drink! Drink!" And the sailor would always raise his glass, considering this phrase an excellent toast and a foolproof way to warm up.

The two lonely friends, the sailor and the seagull, entered the White Sea Canal and followed the rivers south to Russia. The southerners taught the charismatic Lora how to tell jokes, eat sprat, and sing songs about islands. In this way, the seagull Lora inspired everyone to join in the singing with her infectious phrase, "Sing! Sing!"

The sailor and the seagull returned to the waters of central Russia, where they docked in the port of Moscow River. While strolling on land, they noticed that people in the capital loved to gather in large groups. Everywhere they looked, there were streets filled with bars. But something was missing – the soul.

And so, the sailor and the seagull decided to open their own place, the first bar that would revolutionize the way people viewed the culture of consuming drinks for enjoyment.

Each establishment featured a bar island around which guests could gather and feel like they were among friends. All the bars were decorated with a nautical theme, as a tribute to their travels. The menu featured recipes for dishes that reflected the culture of coastal countries, and the atmosphere was filled with a spirit of adventure and playful mischief.

The sailor and the seagull left Russia, leaving their mark in each bar in the form of portraits, installations, and antiques. They continued their journey in search of what they had not found – the soul, never realizing that the soul was the clinking of glasses, singing in unison, the aroma of fried sprat, and dancing until dawn in the unique atmosphere of their bars.

Today, the "Sailor and Seagull" bar chain is a meeting place for like-minded people who, gathered around the bar islands, raise their glasses to the legendary motto, "Drink! Sing! Sail!"

"Sailor and Seagull" is an original bar with a nautical soul and a timeless format, where every guest rediscovers their zest for life, their desire for adventure, and their love for parties "like before." Lighthearted mischief, jokes that push the boundaries, lively dance nights, and bold scenarios of good-natured revelry – this is the experience that awaits guests in Moscow, Kazan, and Yaroslavl.

A love for the sea and sailing, parties and intimate gatherings, original continental street food, and vibrant bar creations, and, of course, a love for the exclusive recipes of those very liqueurs – these are the key ingredients that set the course for the guests of "Drink! Sing! Sail!"

Signature cocktails from bar manager Vladimir Yakubov: "Sail Away" – a supportive cocktail for when the seas get rough. "Moby Dick" – a strong white whale with a spicy aftertaste. "The Ninth Wave" – the most powerful and devastating wave that will end with a final chord of absinthe, after which no storm is to be feared. Original liqueurs: nothing invented, just a worthy product without pretension, but with special attention to technology, and about 200 other bar items.

Chef Vladimir Moglan is at the helm of the kitchen. In the "Sailor and Seagull" menu, he focused on nautical street food, collecting recipes from all the shores of the world, including: mackerel shawarma from Uncle Kolya, chkmeruli mussels, crab cakes with spicy sauce, Finnish fish soup, and more.

"Sailor and Seagull" is not just a bar; it's a place to celebrate the holidays of the world on every corner. On Fridays and Saturdays, DJs and MCs set the atmosphere for dancing, and guests are served exclusive shots of "The Siren's Call" – a luminous azure-blue drink based on rum, which is only offered by a female pirate while the "cannon is loaded."

Cast off the anchors of your daily routine and come to "Sailor and Seagull" for a daily reason to celebrate, the sound of the waves, and the taste of freedom that is so lacking on land! The sea calls – the bar pours!
