IL LETTERATO

IL LETTERATO is a chain of family-style trattorias with an Italian soul and traditions. They are united by a "literary spirit," which is reflected in the name. The first establishment opened in 2019 near the "Dostoevsky" bookstore on Vozdvizhenka, and the second is located on Bolshaya Dmitrovka. The concept is inspired by the Venetian Florian, a favorite cafe of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Byron, Modigliani, Dickens, Hemingway, Brodsky, and other writers.

Dmitry Gudkov ("The Stork"), a student of Umberto Rocca, is in charge of the kitchen at IL LETTERATO. The menu is based on Italian classics such as pizza, pasta (with more than a dozen varieties), ravioli (which Gogol, once again, was particularly fond of), risotto, and fish and seafood in various preparations.
