About

Breathtaking: The first high-altitude brewery, "Alpinists," in Russia, located in Krasnaya Polyana.

"Alpinists" is the fourth project in Krasnaya Polyana by Co-Co Team, the creators of the restaurant Co-Co Chalet, the bar "Ice and Fire," and the Asian snack bar "Sati Dragon."

For those who love the mountains: When developing the concept for the "Alpinists" brewery, restaurateurs Alexander Pavlov and Irek Nuriev took the best elements of the classic French format, added their own unique touches, local specialties, and, of course, the unparalleled beauty of the Caucasus Mountains. In winter, it offers stunning views of the snow-capped peaks, while in summer, it overlooks emerald meadows.

The symbol of the new establishment is a mountain tur, a strong and resilient inhabitant of the local mountain slopes. It bravely and persistently climbs sheer cliffs and overcomes incredible obstacles, just like real mountaineers.

The interior of "Alpinists" reflects the aesthetics of the mountains – it is impressive and at the same time calming: a fireplace, wooden tables and chairs, 9-meter ceilings, panoramic windows, antique details, soft furs, and fluffy pillows on the sofas.

Cuisine The kitchen at "Alpinists" is headed by Vadim Gorbanev, the brand chef of Co-Co Team, a graduate of one of Russia's most prestigious culinary schools, "SVCh" (St. Petersburg), and a former apprentice at a French restaurant with two Michelin stars.

The menu creator infuses the cuisine with the spirit of France: you can sample cheese fondue and raclette, a variety of pasta dishes, and French classics such as escargots à la bourguignonne, foie gras terrine with dried figs, and shepherd's pie. For those who have spent the entire day on the ski slopes, the beef bourguignon and aged steaks are sure to be a hit, while groups of tired and emotionally charged travelers will appreciate the charcuterie selection. By the way, this is one of the main sections of the menu, featuring a variety of snacks for a relaxed and informal evening: dried duck, bresaola, Russian jamón, several types of olives, and artichokes.

The cheese selection at "Alpinists" is a special story. The project team includes Ekaterina Ustinova, a cheese sommelier, expert taster, and creator of the "Cheese Guide" magazine. For the brewery, she has curated a unique collection of cheeses with varying degrees of aging, from Crimea to Vladivostok, which will perfectly complement the wines on the wine list.

Drinks The wine list, showcasing the regions of Russian and French winemaking, was curated by Maxim Kochnev, a recipient of numerous industry awards and "Sommelier of the Year" according to the All-Russian WHERETOEAT 2024 award.

The cocktail menu was created by Kirill Sench, the project's brand ambassador, former bar manager of the "Shalyapin" bar at the legendary Moscow "Metropol" hotel, and a mentor at one of the best bartending schools, Solution School.

The "Alpinists" brewery is open from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, from Monday to Sunday.
