Andrey Ivanov has been the head chef at the NOA (Not Only Aesthetic) restaurant in Moscow since November 2025.
Andrey Ivanov hails from the cozy city of Arzamas in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where his culinary journey began. He received his education in food technology, which formed the foundation of his career.
His inspiration came at the age of six when he watched the "Let's Go Eat" program on NTV. This program sparked a passion for gastronomy and a desire to explore the world of flavors in the young Andrey. Despite the limited opportunities in his small town, he strived for development and new discoveries in the culinary arts.
While studying, Andrey started working, and soon his friend suggested he move to Moscow. They left everything behind and moved to the capital, where Andrey began his career in the Ginza Project restaurant group, joining the Georgian project Patara. This place became a true school of culinary mastery for him, where he learned about spices and other ingredients that give dishes their distinctive flavor. During this period, Andrey also participated in the opening of the "Rybtorg" restaurant.
Later, he continued his journey at the gastronomic pub Bruxelles (later BRUXX), and then at the St. Petersburg chain Ketch Up, where he deepened his knowledge of burgers and fast food.
One of Andrey's most recent projects was Restaurant No. 13, where he gained experience working with vegetables and mastered various cooking techniques. He then worked at the gastronomic space Balagan under the guidance of Tatiana Berkovich, where he gained valuable experience in organizing dinners and creating tasting menus.
A key and defining stage in Andrey Ivanov's development as a chef was his role as sous chef at "Severnyane" under the guidance of Georgy Troyan.
