A visit to this charming restaurant is like travelling back in time and absorbing the essence of that green and timeless Euskadi that comes to mind when we think of the region... And no wonder, it occupies a 15th-century farmhouse that opens out onto the valleys and mountains of the surroundings from its pleasant terrace.In its elegant interior, with a rustic atmosphere as a consequence of the original wooden structure being preserved, you will be offered a traditional à la carte with a modern twist, which extols the roots of Basque gastronomy (the seasonal dishes, such as mushrooms or pigeon, or the fantastic grilled hake from the Bay of Biscay are particular highlights) and several set menus: a set lunch menu called Bizkargi (only available on weekdays), a Vegetarian menu (reservation required), a more gastronomic menu called Mugarra and, finally, a tasting menu called Txindoki. To reaffirm their philosophy, they blindly defend teamwork, stating that ‘cooking is very important, but... it is not everything.’
