Skrepka

About

Following the closure of the wine bar "September" and the bistro "Skrepka," the founders of the projects – Sasha Martynov, Kolya Avetisian, and Pasha Andreyev – joined forces to give the project a second life in the Kitay-gorod district. Thus, the new Skrepka was born. Despite the same name and location, it features a completely new concept. Now, Skrepka is a city cafe with its own bakery, Neapolitan pizza, and an extensive wine list. It's a place for everyone, every day. The day here begins at 9:00 AM with breakfast featuring freshly baked bread, specialty coffee, and comforting pastries reminiscent of childhood, all thanks to the young pastry chef, Ulyana Ryazanova. The aromatic display case offers items like poppy seed bread with whipped butter, golden babki pastries, croissants with various fillings, and much more. Starting at lunchtime and continuing until late at night, the baking theme continues in the main menu, featuring Neapolitan pizza baked in a wood-fired oven, created by brand chef Sasha Nechaev (formerly chef at "Faro" in Buenos Aires, and formerly chef at "Cultural People"). The 26-centimeter pizzas offer a choice of 8 toppings: classic cheese, shrimp and pumpkin, or a weekly special. We recommend complementing your meal with appetizers and hot dishes, such as Murmansk cod with celery cream, a delicate mushroom parfait, and candied dried beet marmalade. Another important aspect of the new Skrepka cafe is the wine. The approach to wine is one of accessibility, a quality brought by head sommelier Arina from the "September" bar. The wine list consists almost entirely of her personal favorites, but it caters to a wide range of tastes. It's versatile yet bold, in the spirit of "September." "We simply do what we love, and the simpler, the better," is the philosophy behind the new "Skrepka."
