About

"Lan Ma" is a noodle shop that celebrates China with a love for people and food, catering to those who appreciate simple, high-quality ingredients and friendly service, with the option to enjoy a meal even late at night.

Some places carry history and soul, and each ingredient recreates ancient traditions, giving the dishes a special meaning. "Lan Ma" is one such place – a noodle shop with a clear concept, where the love for China, for people, and for food is not just a philosophy, but a source of inspiration.

The idea to open a restaurant with a kitchen operating from 11:00 AM to 5:00 AM arose from the realization that Moscow, with its hectic pace of life, needed a place where people could enjoy authentic Lanzhou noodles during the day and night, and have a quick, delicious, and satisfying meal. The "Lan Ma" team learned the secrets of making and stretching noodles from masters in China and skillfully integrated these traditions into the urban environment. Here, you can watch as the dough is kneaded and stretched into noodles – a fascinating sight that can be observed from the dining area, as the kitchen is open.

The interior harmoniously combines traditional Chinese colors – red and ivory – with more ancient interpretations that directly refer to the product itself. This is how the Chinese describe the ingredients of the signature Lanzhou lamian dish: "One is clear (broth), the second is white (daikon radish), the third is red (chili pepper), the fourth is green (coriander and young garlic sprouts), and the fifth is yellow (noodles)." All five colors are present in the design of the restaurant's interior. Modern touches are added by neon signs, the inscriptions on which convey the philosophy of "Lan Ma."

The phrase "Great Chinese Noodles" conveys the tradition of Chinese cuisine and the secrets of preparation passed down by Chinese masters, faithfully reproduced by the chef at "Lan Ma." "Lamian with all your might!" expresses the passion and dedication to the art of making noodles, where the Russian word "m'yat'" (to knead) sounds similar to the word "lamian," a type of Chinese noodle made from soft wheat flour. "Masters of noodle making" refers to the heart of the project – the team that carefully and meticulously recreates Chinese culture on Pokrovka Street. And "Your noodle nights" directly refers to the restaurant's operating hours.

A special display case features "Lan Ma" merchandise and a variety of Chinese food products, while a refrigerator with a playful sign that says "tea" offers a wide range of beverages to suit every taste – from American sodas and Chinese teas to Belgian beer.
