Ruma is a place where a thirst for knowledge connects ancient legends, culinary art, and the nature of the Khabarovsk region. It's not just a restaurant, but a place where the spirit of the great Deduken, known as Ruma – the woman who tamed the mighty Amur River – comes to life. Legend has it that her wisdom and gentleness reconciled the raging river with the people, creating harmony between the elements. Inspired by this story, we have created a unique concept where Pan-Asian culinary traditions meet the gifts of the Far Eastern nature. Pan-Asian cuisine is well-known to the residents of the Far East, but we decided to offer something new, reinterpreting it through the lens of local cultures and ingredients. For example, the menu features "auha," a traditional dish of the indigenous peoples, which can be dangerous if not prepared correctly. However, under the guidance of head chef Yegor Anisimov, this culinary heritage becomes not only safe but also surprisingly exquisite. His professionalism ensures that each dish combines tradition with modern culinary techniques. The interior of Ruma is a visual symphony of the four seasons. Each room reflects the atmosphere of spring, summer, autumn, or winter, transporting guests to the heart of the elements of the Khabarovsk region. Decorative elements, such as patterns of the Amur River seen from above or glass made from the sand of its shores, reinforce the connection to the legend and the nature of the region. The cocktail menu, created by Ilya Voloshin, conveys the changing seasons through cocktails filled with local ingredients and Asian cultural motifs. The wine list, curated by Anastasia Orlova, offers an immersion into the world of wine through the lens of the four elements: air, water, earth, and fire, revealing a wealth of flavors and aromas. Ruma is more than just a restaurant. It's a journey where each dish and every sip of a drink is a step towards knowledge, a new discovery, and a connection to the legend that links the past and the present.
