About
Far Eastern cuisine, a traditional Russian stove, and a mission to revive the atmosphere of a historic building – an early 20th-century tenement house that once housed a restaurant, wine cellar, and cabaret.
This restaurant project aims to revive the legend and atmosphere of a cultural heritage site, the tenement house built by Semen Tabolov and Alexander Bitarov in 1911, which once featured a renowned restaurant, wine cellar, and cabaret. Through our restaurant, we tell the story of Russia. Our mission is not only to preserve cultural heritage and bring as many values as possible into the modern era – from recipes to creative and conceptual elements. The centerpiece of the concept is a genuine Russian wood-fired stove, in which we cook only Far Eastern delicacies, from the gifts of the taiga to seafood from the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk. The menu is based on 100% use of products sourced from the Far East. In the place of the historic wine cellar that existed in the 19th century, we have created a new wine cellar with over 900 different wines. A key feature of the wine list is Russian wines (over 150 selections from Crimea and the Krasnodar region). Artisans from the remote areas of the Khabarovsk region applied a unique plaster finish, replicating the style of houses in ancient Russia, and our stove is also made in the same style. The design of the staff uniforms was recreated based on patterns found during the restoration of the historic building. The summer terrace is designed in the style of "El Dorado Variety," and every weekend, theatrical performances in the variety style are held here, featuring famous actors and dancers.
