About

The first restaurant in Krasnoyarsk serving modern Georgian cuisine, created by restaurateurs Maxim and Elena Antipov.

The name refers to the Kakhetian village of Kindzmarauli and the eponymous red wine: according to one version, "Kindzmarauli" translates to "red hat," and red is a prominent accent in the restaurant's interior. The "Marauli" menu features many traditional Georgian dishes, but the focus is on a modern interpretation of Georgian cuisine and interesting variations. The head chef, Narine Arsenyan, has created a menu where Georgian dishes have acquired a unique flavor, incorporating European and even original elements. "We decided to reimagine the Caucasian style and move away from the traditional 'Georgian' approach, embracing modern culinary trends and local Siberian ingredients. 'Marauli' is a modern, bright, and comfortable space where the atmosphere will be key – a feeling of lightness, joy, and pleasure, both in the food and in life," says restaurateur Maxim Antipov. The wine list for the project was created by Arina Obednina (Sommelier of Siberia 2023, according to Where to eat), and the bar offers original cocktails and homemade infusions. The interior of "Marauli" was designed by Valeria Lizunova, a designer from the well-known Moscow architectural firm ARCHPOINT. The restaurant features three open halls, with a fresh, festive, and stylish modern interior that incorporates ethnic elements and a touch of humor (it's hard to miss the "tipsy" rug), a variety of lighting fixtures made from papier-mâché, plaster, and fabric, light natural tones, and natural materials: wood, ceramics, and vines. An interesting addition to the space is a unique cocoon made from reeds by Ruslan Mazloev, created specifically for the restaurant.
