L'Atelier Petrovka
About
L'Atelier Petrovka is a restaurant offering French and European cuisine.
In the early 20th century, the space that now houses the restaurant was a bespoke tailoring workshop. Upon discovering this, we decided to give "L'Atelier" a new lease on life, and that's how the name L'Atelier Petrovka was born. This time, however, the workshop became a culinary one. The restaurant's interior is also inspired by haute couture, specifically by Charles Frederick Worth, who became the first couturier in history and a true revolutionary in the world of high fashion over 150 years ago. He was the first male designer, the first to organize a fashion show, and in 1858, he was the first to open a workshop and create a haute couture house. Charles Worth's list of achievements is so extensive, and his contribution to the world of beauty is so invaluable, that we decided to recreate elements of his workshop in the interior of L'Atelier and adorn the wall of the main hall with his portrait. The menu features dishes such as Marseille fish soup, Burgundy snails, Parisian tartare, a salad with artichoke, pecorino, and truffle, as well as onion soup, peppered filet mignon with truffle sauce, pasta with vongole and bottarga, and many other dishes. In short, we prepare traditional dishes from European provinces, following recipes passed down through generations. The cocktail menu offers a wide selection of sparkling wines, classic cocktails, and original creations inspired by the story of Charles Worth. We use simple, French-style combinations made with locally sourced ingredients and only the highest quality spirits. And of course, a wide selection of champagnes and wines, wines, and more wines!
