ABOUT THE RESTAURANT Do Not Disturb is a bar with a "Golden Keys" level concierge service, offering access to a wide range of possibilities. The bar resembles the standard bars found in hotels, but without the hotel itself. Regular guests can turn to the concierge with any request: securing tickets to "The Nutcracker" at the Bolshoi Theatre on December 31st, getting access to a sold-out private concert, ordering flowers to be delivered to the bar before your arrival, arranging transportation, booking a room at any hotel in the world, and much more. The concept of this project is similar to the standard bars found in hotels: a beautiful interior, impeccable service, cutting-edge beverage preparation technology, an interesting clientele, and even a hairdryer, a fluffy white bathrobe with terrycloth slippers, disposable soap, toothbrushes, and other hotel amenities in the restroom. In the interior of Do Not Disturb, designer Ekaterina Korchinova opted for a "Russian-style" aesthetic. The focal point is the amber-colored bar counter, where signature cocktails are served. The wall paintings echo fragments of the Armory Chamber, while the carved window frames and satirical stained glass windows, created by artist Gleb Solntsev, vividly illustrate foreign perceptions of Russia. The head chef of the new establishment is Andrey Shmakov (SAVVA at the Metropol Hotel, Kadriorg in Tallinn, "Laplandia" in St. Petersburg). The menu is small and resembles a room-service offering, featuring items like warm brie cheese with dried apricots, Roquefort cheese with green walnut jam, and a cocotte with white mushrooms and truffles. The original cocktail list is divided into two sections. The first section features classic cocktails from the world's best hotels, prepared according to carefully crafted recipes: Black Russian, Singapore Sling, Negroni, Rob Roy, which the bartenders themselves plan to present. The second section features original creations by Andrey Kornilov, the brand bartender of the "S.I.D.R. Group" holding, using his own homemade distillates: buckwheat, rowan, raspberry, and cabbage. Among them is the "Imperial," made with cabbage distillate, dry sherry, and flavored with pumpkin cordial. The "Rowan Drive," made with rowan distillate, dry vermouth, and bitters, is also highly recommended. Original cocktails start at 600 rubles, but to celebrate the opening of the new bar, all guests will receive complimentary champagne until the end of the year.
