About

A beautifully designed confectionery factory of a new format, featuring a sweets shop curated by a renowned pastry chef and a coffee shop, where visitors can observe the entire dessert-making process through glass walls.

The "Kultura" confectionery factory, with its shop and coffee shop, has opened in St. Petersburg, on the shores of the Gulf of Finland, in a historic building from the late 19th century. Now, there's a place to buy fresh chocolates or create your own assortment box featuring only your favorite flavors. The chocolates are created by Zhenya Shefer, a graduate of the Parisian Le Cordon Bleu academy. The foundation of the chocolates is chocolate made from aromatic cocoa beans. This is as impressive as specialty coffee or grand cru wine. The most important thing about a chocolate is its taste. It unfolds with several bright notes and leaves a long, lingering aftertaste. Chewy brownies, airy "bird's milk" chocolates, melt-in-your-mouth fruit jellies (pâte de fruit) with a rich fruit flavor, chocolate squares, and playful dragees are all carefully arranged in beautiful boxes every day. In addition, four types of delicious cupcakes mature for anywhere from two days to a month in a special chamber. At the factory, visitors can observe the entire process of creating the sweets through glass walls and large windows.
