J.Z. Peking Duck is a Chinese restaurant in Moscow, located on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, housed in a mansion adorned with Chinese lanterns and lion statues at the entrance. The establishment occupies three floors: the first floor features a traditional Chinese bistro called "Qing Feng Baozi," founded by the Institute of Healthy Nutrition of China in 1948, specializing in quickly prepared noodles, steamed dumplings, and mantou (steamed buns); the second floor houses a banquet hall with a large room equipped with karaoke, a stage, and a screen, as well as four private rooms featuring hot pot setups and balconies; and the third floor offers nine VIP rooms accommodating between 4 and 22 people each, complete with air conditioning and private restrooms.
The menu showcases cuisine from six regions of China: Beijing, Shandong, Cantonese, Hunan, Sichuan, and Shaanxi, with a dedicated Chinese chef assigned to each regional specialty. The restaurant's signature dish is Peking duck, which is imported directly from China and prepared according to the traditional recipe in a hexagonal oven using cherry wood. The preparation of the duck is overseen by Liu Dianhua, a third-generation chef who has devoted his career to this dish and personally serves it to guests.
