About

InOut Bistro – a new space in Khamovniki, located in the Roza Rossa residential complex. It's a project by young restaurateur Darya Melnikova. The gastronomic space embodies a philosophy of duality, reflected in the project's concept. InOut is a place where gastronomy, aesthetics, and philosophy intertwine to create a unified cultural statement. Every object, every shade, and every texture carries meaning. The principle of duality is reflected in the bistro's interior, designed by the 11:11 design studio. The space combines light and dark hues, soft and hard textures. Natural materials dominate the design, ranging from warm American walnut to the deep, almost mystical moon ebony. The designers avoided straight lines and sharp angles, opting for soft, rounded shapes in the furniture, mirrors, and decorative elements, creating a sense of comfort. Panoramic windows allow soft light to fill the space, highlighting the richness of the textures. Figures of a man and a woman are also present in the interior, symbolizing the union of opposites. They are inseparable, like Yin and Yang, like the In and Out zones of the bistro, creating a subtle philosophical undertone that is almost imperceptible but felt on a sensory level. Upon entering the bistro, guests are greeted by a coffee area – an intimate space for pausing and introspection. You can enjoy a cup of coffee either by taking it with you for a stroll through Khamovniki or by relaxing in the bistro. Specially created desserts continue this meditative theme, immersing you in a world of flavors: Prague cake, potato cake, raspberry tartlets, and InOut's signature parmesan cookies. Desserts at InOut Bistro are not just the end of a meal; they are a story in themselves – a reflection of what touches us, what we remember, and what we want to return to. Here, flavors are heightened, the pace slows down, and a cup of coffee becomes an anchor to the present. Guests pass through a wine cabinet to reach the main dining area – a symbol of transitioning to a new dimension of taste and experience. The interior of the dining room is designed with a focus on burgundy hues. Guests can choose to sit at the bar or at communal or individual tables. The InOut wine list is a tribute to classic winemaking and a reflection of deep respect for its rich history. The bistro showcases a collection built in the most popular and recognizable Old World style, representing a journey through tradition. The highlights are exceptional wines from renowned appellations: Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Piedmont, Tuscany, Rioja, and Ribera del Duero. This foundation is complemented by a selection of exceptional wines from leading wineries around the world, making the InOut wine list not only elegant and balanced but also truly versatile. Thanks to the Coravin system, guests can sample mature, rare, and classic wines from renowned wineries. Wine at InOut is a story, and the wine cabinet is its prologue. The philosophy of duality runs through the bistro, evident in both the space and the gastronomic approach, which returns to the roots. The menu combines beloved classics with gastronomic trends, allowing dishes like rye bread with sprat to coexist with foie gras, zucchini and eggplant caviar with red and black caviar, and affogato with a glass of whipped milk. This allows residents of the metropolis to experience love and care, evoking warm memories of family and childhood, while remaining in a familiar and modern environment. Every guest can find a dish to their liking for any occasion, whether it's a leisurely breakfast, a business lunch, or a romantic dinner. InOut features a summer terrace – an exquisite space nestled in greenery, hidden from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by the architecture of Roza Rossa. There are no harsh lines here – only softness, rounded shapes, and flowing forms, with warm coffee and deep wine hues that visually embody the idea of a dialogue of opposites, and textures that change with the same delicacy as day turns into evening. The tabletops are made of noble oak, the terrace flooring is made of larch, and there are comfortable wine chairs that contrast with the natural materials, along with an abundance of flowering plants in sand and dark gray planters, ranging from dense shrubs to delicate compositions. Every element contributes to the overall atmosphere of comfort and tranquility. On the InOut summer terrace, nature becomes an integral part of the space: rare and expressive plants bring it to life – flowering hydrangea "Sunday Fries" with a watercolor pink hue, fiery barberry, velvety winged euonymus, and elegant Lamarck's iris. The flowerbeds are arranged with architectural precision but retain a natural feel, continuing the idea of harmony between nature and structure, between the living and the man-made. Located in the courtyard of the complex, built according to the architectural principle of a "well," the terrace feels hidden from the external hustle and bustle – a true oasis within the metropolis. The dialogue of contrasts continues not only in the combination of textures and colors but also in the secluded space located in the heart of a bustling city. This is a place where you want to stay as long as possible: here, flavors are heightened, and the pace slows down. The InOut terrace is perfect for a leisurely breakfast, a business meeting, or a pleasant evening with friends. Here, food is not just sustenance; it's a ritual: a cup of coffee, bread with butter, a favorite dish that evokes childhood memories, a quiet conversation, and the smooth texture of wood beneath your fingertips. InOut is a place where every moment is filled with meaning, and every encounter becomes unforgettable.
