From Normandy to Marseille, the restaurant offers cuisine inspired by French bistros, featuring a two-story charcoal oven, an in-house bakery with freshly baked baguettes and croissants, and one of the largest wine lists in Siberia.

In March 2024, "Zherarnia," a restaurant co-owned by Denis Ivanov and Gerard Depardieu, opened its doors in a historic early 20th-century mansion in the center of Novosibirsk. The name was chosen deliberately – it's a reference to Gerard, a man passionate about gastronomy who has dedicated a significant part of his life to it, and also an attempt at a wordplay that each person will interpret in their own way. The restaurant's kitchen is headed by French chef Patrick Schonave, who presents a diverse and vibrant menu of French bistro cuisine, varying from region to region. Guests at "Zherarnia" can enjoy bouillabaisse, pot-au-feu, tartiflette, and blanquette. The "Gallic cuisine" section, featuring dishes designed for sharing, will appeal to those who, like Asterix, appreciate generous portions and grand feasts. Freshly baked baguettes and croissants from the in-house bakery are another reason to visit the restaurant. Sommelier Alena Sukhanova, a holder of the prestigious international WSET Level 3 certification, has curated a wine list of approximately 400 labels, with a focus on French and Russian wines. The selection includes Champagne, wines from the Divnomorskoye estate, a wide range of Cru Beaujolais, and communal Burgundy wines – rare and therefore even more appealing to those who appreciate them. A special highlight of the project is the selection of approximately 40 wines available by the glass, including champagne, orange wines, and sweet dessert wines. The restaurant's gastronomic cocktail menu continues to embody the French spirit, dedicated to French cinema, art, music, and fashion. "Zherarnia" is located on Lenin Street, a landmark street in the city, in one of the few remaining historic buildings. The restaurant, with 90 seats, is divided into several rooms. The interior of one of the rooms evokes the atmosphere of a restaurant that Depardieu used to own in Paris. The second room is a nod to the film "Asterix and Obelix," with a fully open, modern kitchen as its centerpiece, equipped by a company that has worked on key projects in St. Petersburg. The third room is designed in the style of classic Parisian bistros, with mirrors on the walls, antique buffets, and ceilings with plaster rosettes. The centerpiece of the project is a large, two-story charcoal oven, which can be used for both roasting and smoking.
