About
Patrick Schonave, a chef with a culinary heritage, was born and raised in Montpellier, in the southwest of France, in a family of restaurateurs and chefs who owned thirty restaurants, and he began working in the kitchen at the age of 15.
The chef's impressive career includes working with Alain Delon and Gerard Depardieu, specializing in nutrition, teaching at the International School of French Gastronomy, working at the Geneva restaurant Domaine de Châteauvieux (3 Michelin stars and 19/20 Gault & Millau), and the renowned Moscow restaurant "Bouillabaisse," as well as catering for the APEC summit in Vladivostok, where Patrick cooked for 22 presidents.
In December 2024, Patrick Schonave took over the kitchen at "Gérardine" in Novosibirsk. The chef is continuing to develop the restaurant's concept and presents a diverse and vibrant cuisine inspired by French bistros. Located in the heart of Novosibirsk, the restaurant focuses on traditional French dishes from Normandy to Marseille, including bouillabaisse, pâté en croûte, tartiflette, and blanquette.
