Garum Oriental is a restaurant in Moscow whose concept revolves around a gastronomic journey inspired by the legendary Orient Express, which connected Europe with Istanbul in 1883, and later with Singapore and Bangkok. The menu is a map of flavors, where each dish and spice refers to a specific region along this route, while the cocktail list reflects the geographical diversity of Asia through names inspired by its regions.
The project was founded in 2021 by the WRGroup team. The ideator and founder is Elizaveta Stahanova, a restaurateur and wine expert, and the creator of the Wine Religion, Cevicheria, and Garum concepts. The restaurant's signature cocktail menu was developed by head bartender Andrey Babushkin, who combines rare spices, Eastern herbs, and premium spirits. The new menu was created by executive chef Mikhail Kholodov and head chef Dmitry Antonikhin.
The restaurant features a collection of wines from various regions of the country, carefully selected to complement the dishes on the menu.
