Zhang Gang, the owner of "Chuan Yu" restaurant, came to Russia as a student for an internship. After graduating from university, he worked for a state-owned construction company, but he always dreamed of opening a restaurant to introduce Russian people to the culture and traditions of his native China. Chef Li Bin is responsible for the kitchen at "Chuan Yu." He was born in the city of Sichuan and trained as a chef, working in Chengdu's representative office in Beijing. At the Moscow restaurant, Li Bin prepares his signature dishes: chicken in a clay pot, fish with ginger, and the famous Sichuan-style beef with black pepper, featuring a special sauce made according to his own recipe. In addition, "Chuan Yu" offers other popular Sichuan dishes, which are known for their diverse range of flavors – spicy, savory, and sweet and sour. The menu includes over 150 dishes made with beef, lamb, pork, chicken, offal, fish, and seafood. These include the signature Gabao chicken in a sweet and sour sauce, beef tenderloin with vegetables and Sichuan pepper, Kung Pao chicken, Mapo tofu, steamed and wok-fried vegetables, as well as dim sum, wontons, dumplings, and a wide variety of noodles. The "Exotic Dishes" section deserves special attention, featuring shark fins, frog legs, sea cucumber in abalone sauce, bird's nest soup, and other unique specialties. At the "Chuan Yu" restaurant, you can also experience an important culinary tradition from China – hot pot. The interior of the "Chuan Yu" restaurant combines simplicity and comfort. You can choose a room that best suits your mood: the rooms can accommodate from 2 to 40 guests. For example, the "Panda" room is dedicated to the Sichuan province, the homeland of these adorable animals. The "Qingcheng" room is inspired by the mountain of the same name, an important tourist attraction in China. The "Changjiang" room is dedicated to the most famous and important river in China. The "Hong En" room is named after a book that reflects the history of the city of Chongqing during the Civil War.
