Cafe Chaikovsky

The Tchaikovsky Cafe occupies two floors in the Philharmonic building at 4/31 Triumfalnaya Square, located next to the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. This is where its name originates.

The menu features traditional Russian cuisine from the 19th century, reinterpreted by chef Alexei Chigak. Dishes like beef aspic with pickled cucumbers, various types of cutlets, including those made with Yakut pike (exclusively supplied to the restaurant), dumplings, and hearty soups, are served alongside more modern options like flavorful steaks, refined risotto, and spaghetti with octopus. Each season brings new, tempting dishes featuring fresh vegetables and fruits. The in-house pastry shop is also noteworthy, offering a wide range of popular Russian desserts, from éclairs and Napoleon cake to handmade candies and sweet pies. The restaurant also bakes its own bread and pastries in its own bakery.

The interiors of the halls are designed in the style of European classicism. The designers who worked on creating the "cultural cafe" managed to fill the space with a unique atmosphere and comfort. All the furniture and details are custom-made: marble steps, terracotta-colored columns, wooden and mirrored panels on the walls, tables with cast iron legs, leather and velvet sofas, sconces, and fabric lampshades.

Panoramic windows overlook Mayakovsky Square, adding warm light to the main hall. The second hall is built around a rotunda. Tables are arranged in a circle, and there are several private areas behind the columns, reminiscent of theater boxes – perfect for dates or business meetings. The restaurant's halls can also accommodate buffets (up to 300 people), banquets, and weddings (up to 100 people).

During the summer months, a terrace with 60 seats is open.
