Borsch

About

Oh, my Borscht! For the first time in St. Petersburg, homemade food will be available in a "to go" format. The Russian restaurant "Borsch," owned by Anatoly Bordiyan, will open its doors in a trial mode starting December 25th, located at 44 Nevsky Prospekt. The project is led by head chef Anatoly Bordiyan, who has seventeen years of experience and is also known to audiences through his YouTube channel, Borsch. The chef loves experimenting and collaborations, and among the notable guests on the channel are Ilya Lazerson, Idrak Mirzaalizade, and the YouTube blogger SNAILKICK. Anatoly brings the most daring ideas to life – he has cooked chicken in a washing machine, broth in a samovar, kebabs on a hot air balloon, and ribeye steak on a scooter muffler. Years of experimentation and experience led the chef to patent his unique dish: borscht in a pastry. Following the idea for the dish, the idea for the restaurant emerged. Anatoly set himself the goal of making familiar dishes that we eat at home available as fast food. The menu at "Borsch" features the world's only patented borscht in a pastry. The juicy filling in a delicate pastry and a rich broth in a cup are served in a convenient format, perfect for eating on the go or in the park. But it's not just about borscht! This Russian fast-food restaurant also offers "shchi" (cabbage soup) in a pastry, "solyanka" (sour and spicy soup), dumplings, pancakes, shawarma, burgers, hot dogs, french fries, and many other popular and familiar dishes. Borscht – our fast food!
