A cozy and spacious loft with vibrant accents and artwork readily available – this is BarDO, a restaurant-wine bar located within an art gallery in Irkutsk.

Traditional recipes with a focus on high-quality local ingredients represent Chef Alexandra Kirillova's unique take on modern Northern cuisine. The chef herself gathers herbs, berries, and mushrooms in the taiga, then uses them to create preserves, pickles, and marinades, which all eventually find their way onto the wine bar's menu. While a proponent of robust Northern cuisine, the chef occasionally adds popular Asian influences to her creations.

The restaurant's wine list features over 300 selections from around the world. A team of professional sommeliers can assist not only with wine pairings but also with selecting unusual and complementary food and beverage combinations.
