About
Like any chef who found their calling later in life, Ludmila's path was not easy. After dreams of a career in journalism, a degree in international relations, and a job at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she decided to dedicate her life to gastronomy. After a brief internship at Touche and Litro under the guidance of Taras Kirienko, Ludmila moved to the newly opened Remy Kitchen Bakery, working with Glen Ballis. She then worked on the opening of the "Gorynych" restaurant within the White Rabbit Family, held the position of sous chef at the Moscow restaurant Chicha, and helped open a branch in Sochi. Finally, she returned to work under the guidance of the Australian chef Glen Ballis, just in time for the launch of the Pan-Asian restaurant Medusa Asian Kitchen Bar. And so, Ballis, who had long dreamed of having a female head chef in his restaurants and had repeatedly tested Ludmila's skills, appointed her as the head chef of Avocado Queen in 2020.
