About
Katia Plotnikova consciously chose to become a professional chef, and before joining restaurant kitchens, she had a diverse background, including graduating from Moscow State University, working as a translator, a public relations specialist, and an event organizer. In 2013, during the height of Moscow's "bistronomy" movement, Katia graduated from the Ragout culinary school, and in early 2014, she became the head chef and creator of the gastropub Moments. From 2014 to 2020, she developed menus for 11 restaurants, including Wine Bar 13, Smorrebrod, Wine Bar Tsirk, Omnivore (Haifa, Israel), YASHA Street Food from Tel Aviv, Bijou, Wine Bar Tramway, and others. In some projects, Katia also contributed to the development of the concepts, and she also offers private cooking lessons and group workshops, hosts pop-up dinners, and organizes private lunches. Katia Plotnikova runs her own Telegram channel, where she frequently shares interesting recipes and tips on choosing ingredients.
