About
Gleb Gaiger is the executive chef for the "Zoika" and "Ayna" restaurant projects. He is a proponent of precision and technical expertise, yet also possesses a creative approach and is inspired by the cultures of over 42 countries he has personally visited.
Even as a schoolboy, Gleb was determined to build his career in the restaurant industry. He began his career in the kitchen of the InterContinental Hotel and at the Bontempi restaurant in Moscow, under the guidance of Valentino Bontempi, whom he considers his main teacher and inspiration. He became the youngest chef in the "Rappoport Restaurants" holding as part of the "Geraldine" project. In 2021, he won the "New Blood" award from the "Restaurant Navigator" culinary guide, created by Mikhail Lopatin. He is convinced that the top priority is the quality of the ingredients, which guarantees the maximum natural flavor, and that knowing the origin of each ingredient provides freedom, confidence, and the ability to control all processes in the kitchen.
In his free time, he enjoys cycling and traveling. He was previously considered one of the most attractive bachelor chefs by Instyle magazine, but he is now married. :)
