Throughout his professional career, Daniil has led the kitchens of restaurants such as "Bakenbardy" in Pushkin and "Gusary" in St. Petersburg, where he experimented with Russian cuisine. Since 2022, he has been the head chef at the "Forgot Sugar" restaurant at One Trinity Place, where he creates comforting dishes. "For this project, I specifically chose dishes that would be easily understood by everyone, but at the same time, surprise guests with an unexpected and unfamiliar twist on a familiar theme. An unconventional presentation, a new interpretation, a combination of flavors that will be a discovery – this kind of gastronomy becomes a source of fresh emotions, is memorable, and fosters positive and lasting relationships. He was born in the harsh Siberian city of Norilsk. At the age of 17, he started working in the kitchen of an Italian restaurant, beginning his career as a pizza maker. Soon, his interest in gastronomy took over, and at the age of 19, he became the sous chef at the same restaurant.
