About

The flagship "Tkemali" restaurant, a two-story mansion with banquet halls, a terrace-balcony, and a summer garden, has opened on the site of the legendary "Noah's Ark" restaurant.

This two-story mansion, featuring banquet halls, a terrace-balcony, and a summer garden, is the flagship "Tkemali" restaurant, which has opened on the site of the former "Noah's Ark." An international team of chefs has combined various Caucasian culinary traditions in the menu. The walls are adorned with antique Georgian carpets and a collection of paintings by Anton Totibadze. A family heirloom grill has been transformed into a large grill-fireplace in the center of a spacious, bright hall. "Tkemali" is a chain of Caucasian restaurants owned by Anna and Nikita Tataev (Tataev Family). The first, cozy and homey restaurant, opened in 2016 on Pushchinnaya Street. The second, more elegant and vibrant restaurant, opened in 2020 in a historic building on Novaya Square. The third location promises to be even more interesting and sophisticated. The renowned artist Anton Totibadze, from the famous Moscow-based Georgian family, has created a collection of works specifically for "Tkemali," which can be seen both on the walls and in the menu. Unique, handcrafted carpets, the oldest of which dates back to 1938, were brought in from auctions. The wine list features the best wines from the region, ranging from amber wines from Kakheti, aged in clay qvevri vessels, to full-bodied red wines, almost black, from large wineries to small family-run estates.
