ABOUT THE RESTAURANT The Y represents a new era. While some are nostalgic for the bygone days of Gatsby, Moscow restaurateur Kira Baibakova has launched a multi-functional project specifically for the millennial generation. Youthfulness, irony, boldness, dynamism, and exploration – that's what The Y embodies. The name is derived from the English word "youth" and encapsulates the project's philosophy: a restaurant for everyday life, but viewed through the lens of a generation that has grown up in the fast-paced environment of a metropolis, with its rapid internet access and constantly changing reality. The Y is located in the new "Barin House" building. It features two floors, two open kitchens, a vibrant bar, a charming coffee shop, and over two hundred seats. For parents seeking a break, the restaurant has a secret door leading to a children's play area, while those planning a party will find an elegant door opening into a hall with an open kitchen.
