The new restaurant, The Legends, located in Nikolskie Ryady, features jazz and rock jam sessions, serves timeless hits by David Bowie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Michael Jackson, and offers an unbeatable and legendary selection of American cuisine. The Legends was founded by three like-minded individuals: Gleb Nikitin, a restaurateur (owner of "Tsennosti" and the retro-futuristic diner Apollo 60), Ivan Brovarnik, head of the "Duna" group of companies, specializing in architectural acoustics, and Alexander Pelyayev, a lawyer with interests in accounting, the restaurant business, and consulting. This trio was united by a passion for music, and Gleb, Ivan, and Alexander designed The Legends, drawing on their own tastes and the "musical" atmosphere of the location. In terms of location and, to some extent, concept, The Legends is a successor to Hard Rock Cafe. The musical spirit of the place inspired the new project, and the legacy of Hard Rock Cafe seamlessly integrates into the ambiance of the new establishment: guests are greeted by guitars belonging to Shnur and Rosenbaum, alongside saxophones played by Gleb Nikitin and Ivan Brovarnik, the project's creative minds. To the left of the entrance, you'll find displays of Hard Rock Cafe merchandise, which will soon be joined by a collection of clothing, accessories, and souvenirs, as well as vinyl records featuring legendary artists. The atmosphere of the establishment transports you to America in the 1980s and 1990s, a period of creative freedom and the expansion of musical genres. If we draw a parallel with the United States, The Legends has 12 distinct areas, each dedicated to a specific artist or group. From Thursday to Saturday, live music fills the stage – covers, jazz compositions, and rock jams – and the acoustic system is one of the most modern and advanced in the city, managed by the "Duna" team, which has worked on iconic St. Petersburg projects such as the Chamber Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. Chef Sergei Chemagin has curated a menu featuring popular American classics, presented in a unique and visually appealing way. Burgers, steaks, and Tex-Mex dishes take center stage. Generous portions, vibrant flavors, and a cinematic, nostalgic presentation – each order is a ticket to a culinary journey through America. Mixologist Kirill Kniga offers his own interpretations of musical hits. Like American culture, the drink selection resembles a patchwork quilt or a melting pot, incorporating influences from various traditions. The "Magnificent Eight" signature cocktails are inspired by iconic rock songs, and the menu itself is designed to resemble a vinyl record. The concept of the establishment allows children to experience their favorite music from a young age. There's a unique musical playroom where children can watch nostalgic cartoons, play a kalimba, acoustic or electric guitar, or explore a synthesizer – there's even a musical busy board.
