"Afisha" review of the restaurant:
This project from Evgeny Katsenelson, the owner of "Brat'ev Karavaev," "Rynok i Obshchepito," and "Izia Grill," features a kitchen led by Katsenelson's long-time brand chef, the Frenchman Michel Even. The design is inspired by the American occupation of South Korea and Japan – it's as if a ubiquitous local food truck has rolled up to a military base. The service is minimalist – there are no waiters, for example, and orders are announced over the loudspeaker: "Snezhana, your oysters are ready!" Therefore, it's best to use a more unusual name when ordering, so you don't get called out every time someone shouts "Lena" or "Sergei." However, there are hostesses, a wine list, complimentary appetizers, and very fresh oysters, sea urchins, and "botan" shrimp (a type of shrimp). The cuisine is Pan-Asian with a noticeable French influence. The portions are large. It's usually quite crowded.
