The Scampi restaurant, with its panoramic views of the Patriarch's Ponds, has been revitalized and rebranded as Scampi Trattoria, now offering a true Italian trattoria experience. The key concept of the restaurant is a creative approach to food preparation and a meticulous attention to the quality of ingredients, placing it on par with any high-end establishment. The menu focuses on classic Italian dishes. The new head chef, Andrei Chetvertynov, expresses his love for simple and straightforward cuisine, always prioritizing the quality of the ingredients. Cheeses are imported from Switzerland, and all other pantry items are sourced directly from Italy. The menu features unexpected variations of Italian classics, such as spaghetti with bottarga or ravioli with orange ricotta and braised beef. Several versions of tartare and carpaccio are perfect as appetizers. Those who prefer lighter fare will appreciate the salads and vegetable appetizers, such as fried artichokes with Parmesan cream or roasted pumpkin with goat cheese and spinach. And, of course, the "cicchetti" – Venetian mini-sandwiches in various variations – deserve special attention and have their own dedicated section on the menu. Italian wines, which make up a significant portion of the wine list, are the perfect accompaniment to the dishes. The wine list also offers a good selection of Prosecco and biodynamic wines. Beer lovers will appreciate the smooth taste of the light lager "Menabrea," brewed with water from thermal springs in the Italian mountains. The renovation extended beyond the menu and bar list to include the restaurant's interior. The space, designed in the style of a modern trattoria, features a minimalist aesthetic with elements of natural stone and dried flowers. Vintage lamps above the tables and tableware reminiscent of an Italian grandmother add to the cozy atmosphere. All of this is intended to create the ambiance of a small Florentine trattoria, perfectly complemented by the picturesque view of the Patriarch's Ponds.
