Restaurant and bar in a historic mansion on Pyatnitskaya Street, inspired by "Dune"

Restaurateurs and hoteliers (Mercure Arbat and Baumanskaya) Roman and Emil Garanizade have opened the RIZZ restaurant and bar, offering a gastronomic yet accessible menu for everyday dining, as well as impeccable cocktails. All of this is housed in a historic mansion on Pyatnitskaya Street, with an interior inspired by the iconic film "Dune." "RIZZ is a place for charismatic people, where you can be yourself and be understood. People come here to connect with each other and share what's most important: news, experiences, moods, and, of course, food. We are all different, but we are united by something intangible, let's call it 'Charisma'," says Roman.

The menu's philosophy is in the hands of renowned Moscow chef Nikolai Arkhipov, where comfort food dishes evoke emotions that you want to share, and perfectly complement the interesting cocktail list. The addition of Asian sauces adds a vibrant touch. Special mention should be made of the artisanal bread, focaccia baked on stone, and Neapolitan pizza with airy crusts from a wood-fired oven.

The RIZZ menu features: gastronomic appetizers perfect for wine and cocktails, various tartares, roti flatbreads, and Nikolai's signature dish: fried Camembert with grapes, onion marmalade, and freshly baked brioche.

The salad section features plenty of fresh greens, vibrant combinations, all with interesting dressings with an Asian twist. The menu also includes generously sized burgers and handmade pasta. And the rigatoni with braised pork cheeks and sun-dried tomatoes is a must-try recommendation from Nikolai.

For main courses, you'll find steaks, seafood, and kushiyaki skewers, grilled over an open flame, which gives them a rich, juicy flavor.

The RIZZ bar menu is also filled with meaning. Concept bartender Yegor Pechenevsky doesn't just offer drinks; he invites you on a philosophical journey through the images of Heaven, Earth, and People, connecting nature, the divine, and humanity in a single glass. And each cocktail is accompanied by an intriguing story.

The wine list features over 120 selections from both the New and Old Worlds. Prices for a glass start at 550 rubles.

The interior of RIZZ, built on the interaction of water and desert, is a creative solution from the Italian design studio Megre Interiors. The combination of textures and forms, creating a layered effect, reflects the mesmerizing interplay of two natural elements: water and sand. The drawings on the textured walls are hand-painted, and the natural tones emphasize the overall concept – creating an atmosphere that transports those walking along the bustling Pyatnitskaya Street to another fantastical reality.

On the first floor, guests are greeted by a unique marble bar, which will be open during the summer months, and an original staircase leading to the second floor. On the second floor, there is a long (10-meter) marble bar and seating areas.

The third floor leads to a lounge area with a fireplace, plenty of sofas, and private rooms for events or wine tastings. And on the fourth floor, a veranda with 70 seats will open in the summer, featuring a bar in the style of the best hotels in Singapore and Hong Kong, with panoramic views of Zamoskvorechye, which promises to be the largest in the area.

The RIZZ space is perfect for gatherings of all kinds: family dinners, business meetings, or fun get-togethers with friends. And on Fridays and Saturdays, there's a DJ.
