The flagship "Risovarnya" corner at DEPO is vibrant, unique, and incredibly delicious. It's a magnet for anyone who loves dishes where rice takes center stage. Maxim Tarusin, one of the most famous and recognizable Russian chefs, has become the brand chef of "Risovarnya." He has 25 years of experience working on the best projects in Moscow, including the Grand Café "Dr. Zhivago" and "Voskhod," as well as internships in the kitchens of leading restaurants from the United States to China. Maxim trained in France with Alain Ducasse and knows how to present local ingredients in the best possible light. One of his signature dishes is plov, which takes a central place on the new corner's menu. Each type of plov is enticing with its unforgettable, captivating aroma: guests will smell it long before they approach the corner. You can try the loose Chaykhanskiy plov (640 rubles), which is made with tender lamb and fragrant barberries. The Baku plov (650 rubles) includes dried fruits, which make it not only delicious but also very healthy. At "Risovarnya," it's prepared just like in its homeland, Azerbaijan. Tashkent festive plov (620 rubles), also known as "Bayram Osh," is usually prepared for important celebrations in large cauldrons. The Bukhara plov (also known as "Bakhsh," 510 rubles) contains a lot of fragrant herbs, which add not only a rich aroma but also a beautiful, elegant touch to the dish. The Spanish paella (710 rubles) is also a type of plov: at "Risovarnya," it's prepared with a generous portion of fresh seafood and sausages. Another menu highlight is lagman, a recipe that the brand chef learned in Asia and now offers guests of the Moscow "DEPO" to appreciate. At "Risovarnya," you can also boost your vitamin intake by ordering salads made with fresh fruits and vegetables, and you can sample freshly baked flatbreads cooked in a tandoor oven.
