Kotelnaya

The "Kotelnaya" bar has been seriously focusing on developing its culinary offerings in recent months, starting with a new menu created by chef Dmitry Pogorelov and changes to the wine list. The ambiance is fitting: tablecloths, table lamps, romantic music combined with 20-meter ceilings, the famous Art Deco-style bar, and a wide golden staircase create an unusual and slightly cinematic atmosphere.

Dmitry Pogorelov designed his new menu with a Pan-Asian focus, featuring unique dishes in Moscow, such as spring rolls with eel, teriyaki salmon, and noodles with shrimp and saffron dashi.

The gastronomic concept of the menu is designed to complement the bar's cocktail menu, which offers something for everyone, from classic Martinez and Sazerac cocktails to the modern Pornstar Martini and the signature Violet 75. The bar's operations are managed by Marat Saddarov (formerly of Noor Bar and Bartender Brothers), while the cocktail menu was created by Vladimir Zhuravlev, a co-founder of the Bartender Brothers community and the Barproof Awards. Currently, Daniil Feinberg is responsible for the innovations in the bar's offerings.

The "Kotelnaya" was designed by architect Sergei Pokrovsky, who previously created the interiors of the legendary Simachev bar. The impressive bar was inspired by the Singaporean bar Atlas, which is ranked among the top bars in the world. This interior will be the perfect backdrop for the bar's new music program, which will feature regular performances by jazz artists.
